Overview
In this musical based on the 1979 cult classic film with Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly, the Greek muse Clio comes to Venice, California in 1980.  Taking the name Kira, she inspires the struggling artist Sonny Malone to open the pinnacle of all artistic venues:  a roller disco.

Mira Winick and Corey Wright directed our experimental, immersive production of Xanadu at UCLA in 2025.   Produced by Jeff Burke for the Department of Theater and the Center for Research in Engineering, Media, and Performance (REMAP), it explored the use of emerging technologies such as extended reality and artificial intelligence to create new audience experiences.
